Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Sheffield organized Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference

“A fundamental aim of Mawlid al-Nabi (saw) is to attain love and proximity of the Prophet (saw) and to revive the believer’s relationship with his most revered person” -Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

With this quote in mind, Minhaj Women League Sheffield arranged a Mawlid-un-Nabi (saw) conference on the 6th of January 2018, in which the esteemed attributes of Allah’s beloved were discussed and celebrated.

The conference started with the blessed verses of the Holy Quran followed by melodious recitation of the praises of Allah and the Holy Prophet (saw).

Sister Yasmin [President MWL Walsall] narrated the events from the life of the Holy Prophet (saw), in particular the events which took place before and after his blessed birth. Sister Yasmin highlighted the unparallel qualities of the Holy Prophet (saw) found in his childhood.

Minhaj Naat Council Derby enlightened the hearts of the attendees with the nasheed of the Prophet (saw) in a beautifully melodious manner.

This was then followed by an Urdu talk delivered by Sister Mussarat Hussain [Vice President MWLUK]. Sister Mussarat spoke about how Allah praises the Holy Prophet (saw) in the Quran, and then reiterated the miraculous events of the Prophet (saw) birth and childhood.


The conference ended with Salat’o’ Salaam and dua. The attendees were also gifted with a literature packages which included DVDs on various lecture topics delivered by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, leaflets for Minhaj Welfare Foundation and Minhaj College Manchester and various other literature. A book stall was also set up, where people took away free copies of the English Translation of the Holy Quran as well as purchasing other books.
