A delegation from the SAARC Chamber and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the leadership of Chairman PIAF Faheem-ul-Rahman Sehgal and Senior Vice President Adnan Butt, participated in Itikaf of Minhaj-ul-Quran and attended the night of awakening.
Upon their arrival at the city of retreat, they were welcomed by Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, and Hafeez Chaudhry. The delegation listened to the address of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and visited various corners and educational circles in Itikaf City. They also participated in the pre-dawn meal with the faithful.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anjum Nisar said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is a learned face of Islam and Pakistan. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Minhaj-ul-Quran International are presenting a peaceful face of Islam in Pakistan as well as all over the world. Their efforts, especially for the character and conduct of the youth, are commendable.
He said that participating in the city of retreat of Minhaj-ul-Quran, it is estimated that there is both education and training here, the devotees are engrossed in worship and education day and night. He said that listening to the topics of Shaykh-ul-Islam's speeches, it was infinitely delightful to know that he is strengthening the faith and beliefs of the youth along with the improvement of their conduct and ethics, and the connection he is establishing between the Holy Quran and science is unique and indispensable.
The business leader said that undoubtedly, the inventions being made by science today are a confirmation of the truths stated in the Holy Quran.
The delegation included Adnan Butt, Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lahore, Subhan Akhtar, Malik Nadeem, Muhammad Abu Bakr, and Ahsan Shahid. Muslim Chinese businessman Muhammad Yousaf Fa also participated in the city of retreat and attended the night of awakening.
