Islam is the protector of humanity: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

Addressing a conference titled "Islam: Protector of Mankind", MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the Holy Quran is the Word of Allah Almighty that contains guidelines for peace, progress, and human well-being. He said whichever nation will adopt these golden principles will make progress in the world. He said that the Muslim Umma has been confronted with a comprehensive decline due to their alienation from the religious teachings.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that MQI is following the path of the holy Quran. He said that it has been the endeavor of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri that every member of the Muslim world is able to understand the Word of Allah and reflect on His message.

The conference was arranged by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (KP chapter). Certificates were given away to those who successfully completed the ten-day Diplomat in the Quranic Studies in connection with Irfan-ul-Quran course.

Mr. Muhammad Bakir Beigi, Pessharar's Director-General Khana-e-Farhang, Iran, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Holy Quran has laid a very firm intellectual foundation for protection and well-being of humanity. He said that Islam does not allow the taking of the life of any innocent person. He said that Islam is a complete code of conduct that preaches peace, love and harmony. He said that our faith has made the acquisition of knowledge binding upon both man and woman. The Iranian diplomat appreciated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on his services for the promotion of the Quranic sciences and contributions to the cause of humanity in several areas.

MWL Coordinator for the KP province, Umme Habiba, said in her speech that MQI has made the Islamic message of education and spiritual training the pivot of its mission. She said that the MQI founding leader has set up educational institutions throughout the country for the education of the women in contemporary and religious sciences. She said that the Quranic learning courses are being successfully arranged in the KP which are benefiting women belonging to various walks of life.

Khalid Mahmood Durrani and Mr. Mohsin also spoke on the occasion. Khalid Ayub, a renowned trader, also attended the conference. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur congratulated Mahmood Masood, Allama Sarfraz Qadri, deputy directors of the Directorate of Learning, and their whole team on the successful conduct of the learning programs. Abdul Hayee Alvi, central Secretary Tanzeemat for KP, also addressed the conference.
