Layla al-Qadr is a blessed night granted to Muslims as gift: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

In a special online talk on the occasion of Layla al-Qadr, MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Muslim Umma got a unique blessing of Layla al-Qadr through the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said Allah Almighty described the worship done during this special night superior to that of the thousands of months. He said someone who worships during this blessed night with devotion, Allah will enter his accepted worship of 83 years and four months in the register of his deeds.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said Allah Almighty says that the Holy Book was revealed during Layla al-Qadr and on this night, the angels descend to the earth from heaven on the commandments of their Lord. He said every supplication made with sincerity of heart during this night is accepted. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said whosoever remains deprived of Layla al-Qadr, it is as if he remains deprived of the good.

Shaykh-ul-Islam asked the people to mend their broken relationship with their relatives and friends, avoid curses and supplications of the oppressed and adopt justice and fairness in life to be able to enjoy the blessings of this special occasion. He prayed to Allah Almighty to forgive us for our individual and collective acts of commissions and omissions. He said humanity is facing a grave challenge of Covid-19 that has badly affected people around the world. He asked the affluent and well-to-do sections of society to come forward and lend a helping hand to those in acute need. He said there is no superior worship than supporting the deserving and poor at the moment.
