Scholarly, spiritual & education role of Madaris to be revived: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

The first meeting of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan was held after the status of an independent board was granted to it. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the patron-in-chief of the Board, presided over the meeting.

Expressing his views on the occasion, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the students studying in the religious seminaries registered with Nizam-ul-Madaris will be imparted education in religious and modern sciences. He said that a comprehensive curriculum has been designed in consultation with the experts for this purpose. He said that the degrees to be had by the graduating students from Nizam-ul-Madaris will not only be acceptable in Pakistan but also abroad. He said that we will restore the scholarly, educational, research and training identity of Madaris.

The meeting was attended by Secretary General MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, President Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Allama Mufti Imdadullah Qadri, Nazim-e-Ala Mufti Mir Asif Akbar, and Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that MQI focused its attention on the character building of an individual in its journey of 40 years. He said that the graduates of the educational institutions under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran are rendering their valuable services as successful professionals inside Pakistan as well as overseas. He said that the standards maintained by educational institutions of MQI will now be reflected in the system of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan.

Chairman MQI Supreme Council said that it is right of the students studying in the religious seminaries that they get dignified and honorable employment opportunities after completing their education. He said that Pakistan will progress only when all of its youths burn their midnight oil and contribute to its socio-economic development.
