MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of Pir Ghalib Pervez Lahore, a renowned spiritual personality and senior member of MQI. In his condolence message, he said that the movements rarely get as devoted, true, and loyal members as Pir Ghalib Pervez Lahori. He was a pious, sincere and spiritually minded person.
Dr Qadri said that Pir Ghalib Lahore was a great asset of MQI who joined the organization at the time of its inception and remained committed to it till the last breath of his life. He said that the death of Pir Ghalib Pervez Lahori is a great loss to the MQI family as well as to his followers that have been deprived of a kind mentor. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give the bereaved family and the followers the courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Muhammad Rafique Najam, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Hafiz Ghulam Farid and other leaders also expressed their deep sense of grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Pir Ghalib Pervez Lahori. They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.
The funeral prayers for the deceased were offered in Lahore Cantt. Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Haji Manzoor Hussain Qadri, Haji Sheikh Muhammad Aslam Qadri, Sardar Fatehullah Khan, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Dawood Mash'hadi, Imtiaz Awan and other central, divisional and tehsil leaders of different forums of MQI attended the funeral prayers and prayed for the departed soul.
