MQI founding-leader and patron-in-chief Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the office-holders of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan on successfully conducting three-day training workshop for the teachers of Madaris. In his message of felicitation, he said that time has come to say good-bye to the 300-years-old curriculum and 100-years-old teaching methodology. He said that refresher courses are the need of the hour to promote modern means of teaching and research and education.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that this training workshop will help improve the quality of education imparted at the religious seminaries and streamline the training for the students on scientific lines. He said that new trends of research and education will have to be promoted for the students of religious seminaries, adding that modern technology should be used for this purpose.

The MQI leader said that it has become essential for the teachers to equip themselves with modern technology, for which the use of information and communication technology is a must. He said that our youth needs to be prepared for the upcoming challenges so that the nation can be put on the path of progress and prosperity.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan deserves congratulations on successfully arranging the workshop. He said that this event is reflective of the resolve to align the religious seminaries with the contemporary demands. He said that such workshops need to be continued in the future as well in a coordinated manner. He said that if teachers do not learn how to use technology, it will undermine the results.

Dr Qadri said that the youths are the precious asset of the country who need to be facilitated through the provision of facilities for research and education. He said that the future belongs to technology and underlined the need for understanding the importance of modern technology. He asked the youth to capitalize on the available opportunities and develop expertise in their respective areas.
