Rescue and Relief Operations in Flood-Hit Areas Must Be Accelerated: Noorullah Siddiqi

Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s Central Information Secretary, Noorullah Siddiqi, has expressed deep sorrow over the significant loss of life and property caused by floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and other regions. He said that thousands of people in the affected areas have been rendered homeless and are deprived of basic necessities, while dozens of villages have been submerged.

This natural disaster has severely damaged local economies, agriculture, and basic infrastructure.

Noorullah Siddiqi urged the federal government and relevant institutions to immediately accelerate rescue and relief operations. He called for the urgent relocation of affected families to safe areas and for the provision of food, medicine, and other essential supplies.

He emphasized that in this time of crisis, both provincial and federal governments must adopt a joint strategy to support the affected population.

The PAT Secretary Information further stated that natural disasters are a test of human patience and sacrifice, and we must help one another to get through this difficult time. He prayed for the deceased, asking that God grant them a place in His mercy, for the speedy recovery of the injured, and for strength and patience for the affected families.
