Knowledge becomes truly effective only when accompanied by manners,
patience, and practice
Students should use social media for positive and missionary purposes: Chairman
Supreme Council, Minhaj-ul-Quran International
Address at the Farewell Ceremony of Session 2025 organized by College of Shariah
(Bazm-e-Minhaj)

Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while addressing the farewell ceremony for Session 2025 organized by Bazm-e-Minhaj and the College of Shariah & Islamic Sciences, said that the students of the college successfully completed the 2025 session in an organized and commendable manner and deserved hearty congratulations.
He stated that the purpose of Bazm-e-Minhaj is to polish the abilities of students, transform knowledge into practice, and prepare leadership that truly represents the religion. This forum provides opportunities for personality development through both curricular and extracurricular activities.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that the Holy Qur’an not only describes the duties and responsibilities of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, but also clarifies the purpose of his Prophetic mission. From his blessed being flows the fountain of the knowledge of recitation (Qira’at) and all other sciences. The recitation of the Qur’an, he said, transforms a person into a friend and reciter of the Qur’an.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council emphasized that self-purification (tazkiyah-e-nafs) is essential before the acquisition of knowledge. Sufism, he said, is in fact the purification of the heart and the illumination of the soul. In the pursuit of knowledge, manners, patience, forbearance, and practice are fundamental requirements.
He urged the students of Minhaj-ul-Quran to use social media positively and for missionary purposes, as they are the true preachers and guides of the Mustafavi Mission.
In his concluding remarks, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the students of Minhaj-ul-Quran are not merely seekers of knowledge but are future leaders, reformers, and representatives of the faith. Bazm-e-Minhaj has instilled in the youth an awareness that transforms knowledge into character. He added that true education is that which purifies the inner self and teaches service to humanity, humility, and tolerance. The goal of Sufism is that the heart of a human being becomes enlightened and connected to the Creator.
He advised the students to spread light in society through their knowledge and actions, as the graduates of Minhaj-ul-Quran are the missionary force destined to convey the Prophetic message of mercy to the entire world. In today’s age, their role, knowledge, and positive outreach should serve as a living embodiment of the Mustafavi message.
