Righteous deeds are the source of eternal success for a human being: Allama Rana Idrees

A believer adopts patience and gratitude in both joy and sorrow: Deputy Secretary General Minhaj-ul-Quran
Address at the Friday congregation in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Lahore

Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, while addressing the Friday congregation at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Model Town Lahore, said that the world is temporary, whereas the Hereafter is an everlasting reality. He said that true success for a person lies in preparing for the Hereafter by distancing oneself from worldly distractions and desires.

Allama Rana Idrees said that the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) guide us that righteous deeds and sincere intentions become the means of eternal success.
Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees said that death is a law ordained by Allah from which no one can escape. For a believer, death becomes a source of comfort, while for the oppressor it becomes a cause of hardship. The soul of a martyr is blessed with the special nearness and vision of Allah.

He said that a person who strives against his own ego finds his death peaceful and faith-inspiring. Trials, he added, do not come to break a person but to elevate his ranks. A believer adopts patience and gratitude in both happiness and sorrow. Saying “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji‘un” in times of difficulty becomes a means of Allah’s special mercy.

Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees said that if a person spends his life in righteousness, service, and obedience to Allah, then his final journey also becomes a beautiful gift of divine mercy.
