President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while addressing the Seerat-un-Nabi (ﷺ) Conference, spoke on the topic “The Importance of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet in Students’ Character Building and the Fundamental Responsibilities of Teachers and Parents.” He said that in this era, the moral upbringing and moral training of the young generation is the greatest challenge, and the best solution lies in following the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He said that along with academic excellence, it is essential that students’ morals, character, and social conduct be strong and refined.
Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri added that the Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ) has always been a complete and practical source of guidance for humanity, shaping the young generation into balanced, ethical, and refined individuals.
Addressing the conference organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Nankana Sahib, he said that the search for success is innate in every human being, yet the true key to success exists only in the Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ). He said that today, from our youth to adults in their fifties, every person is wandering in search of direction, guidance, and intellectual clarity. The real issue is not the absence of a clear path, but our reluctance to practically step onto that path. The blessed Seerah presents a complete and luminous roadmap for life.
Addressing the youth specifically, Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri urged them to strengthen their bond with the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) without delay and make it the center of their practical lives.
He emphasized that leadership is not defined by a position, title, or authority. Rather, it emerges from humility, service, gentleness, patience, and love. A true leader does not measure success by how far he has gone, but by how many people he has guided towards their destination. The Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ) teaches that leadership is a continuous process of training, self-accountability, and moral reform.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri added that leadership is not merely power or governance; it is a great trust for which accountability will be required in this world and the hereafter. A true leader does not accumulate responsibilities but passes them on in an organized manner so that a coherent system, strong team, and effective operational structure can continue across generations.
He said that avoiding false praise, remaining unaffected by baseless criticism, and accepting every sincere opinion with positivity are hallmarks of a great leader. Calling knowledge and the power of the pen the foundation of leadership, he said that intellectual heritage is preserved through writing.
In this context, he paid tribute to the scholarly, intellectual, and training
services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who has played a historic
role in guiding and character-building of millions of youth.
In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated the President of
Minhaj-ul-Quran Nankana Sahib, the Principal of Pak Garrison College, the entire
Minhaj administration, and all students, saying that they are the bright future
of the nation. Today’s hardworking student will become tomorrow’s leading figure.
He also appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers who have raised this generation
upon knowledge, manners, discipline, and character.
The conference concluded with prayers for the peace and prosperity of the country, unity of the Ummah.
