53rd Urs of Dr. Fareed-ud-Din Qadri (RA) to be Held on April 5

President MQI Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri Will Address

The 53rd Urs Mubarak of Dr. Fareed-ud-Din Qadri (RA), the esteemed father of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri—founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International—will be observed with great reverence and devotion on Sunday, April 5, after Isha prayers at Dar-ul-Uloom Fareedia Qadria, Basti Lohlay Shah, Jhang Sadar.

On this occasion, a “Fareed-e-Millat Seminar” will also be held, which will be addressed by the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. A large number of distinguished scholars, spiritual leaders, religious and social personalities, and people from different schools of thought from across the country are expected to attend.

During the seminar, rich tributes will be paid to the remarkable services of Dr. Fareed-ud-Din Qadri (RA) in the fields of Islam, Pakistan, and medicine.

The ceremony will be presided over by the Administrator of the shrine of Fareed-e-Millat, Sahibzada Muhammad Sibghatullah Qadri, while the arrangements are being finalized under the supervision of the Director of Dar-ul-Uloom Fareedia Qadria, Hafiz Allama Abdul Qadeer Qadri.

The spiritual gathering will commence with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Fakhr-ul-Qurra Qari Noor Ahmad Chishti. Sahibzada Tasleem Ahmad Sabri and Safdar Ali Mohsin will perform the duties of hosts.

Furthermore, renowned naat reciters including Al-Hajj Shahbaz Qamar Fareedi, Muhammad Shakeel Tahir, Shehzad Brothers, Zaheer Ahmad Bilali, and other internationally acclaimed naat khwans will present poetic tributes in praise of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Jawad Hamid, stated that all arrangements for the Urs Mubarak have been completed. A large number of affiliates, workers, devotees, and admirers from across the country are expected to participate. Delegations from the central secretariat in Lahore will also attend in the form of organized caravans.
