The Holy Qur’an is guidance, advice, and mercy for all humanity,” says Allama Rana Idrees Qadri

Rana Idrees Qadri Addressing Khutba Jummah in Jamia Shaykh ul islam

Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, while addressing the Friday congregation at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam Lahore, said that the Holy Qur’an is the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty, a complete source of guidance, and a cure for ailments.

He stated that unless a person establishes a firm and strong relationship with the Holy Qur’an, they cannot attain the true wealth of piety. He added that the Qur’an is a source of advice, healing, guidance, and mercy for all of humanity, providing a remedy for inner spiritual diseases such as jealousy, hatred, and malice.

He further said that the Holy Qur’an is a special grace and mercy from Allah, and the greatest of all blessings in this world. Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri added that a person who recites the Qur’an proficiently will be in the company of noble angels, and one who recites it with difficulty will receive double reward.

He said that for every letter recited, ten good deeds are granted, and on the Day of Judgment, the Holy Qur’an will intercede on behalf of its reciters.

He emphasized that the special servants of Allah are those who maintain a deep connection with the Qur’an. The closer a person is to the Qur’an, the closer they are to Allah. Ranks in Paradise will be assigned according to the verses of the Qur’an, and the reciter will be told to continue reading and ascend in rank.

He urged the audience to make daily recitation of the Holy Qur’an a regular practice, to strengthen their relationship with it in their household lives, and to value this great blessing so that success may be achieved in this world and the hereafter.

A large number of central leaders, workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran, and local residents attended the gathering.
