Speakers Address Closing Ceremony of Minhaj Education Society's Teachers' Training Workshop

The Minhaj Education Society held the closing ceremony of its Teachers' Training Workshop at the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, New Campus Township, Lahore.
The chief guest on the occasion was Muhammad Shahid Latif, Director of Resources and Development and President of the Minhajeans Forum. Delivering a keynote address on teachers' professional development, character building, and the promotion of quality education, he said that an outstanding teacher does far more than impart knowledge; a teacher also shapes character, nurtures moral values, and cultivates positive thinking.
He emphasized that modern pedagogical skills, continuous professional development, and the moral and intellectual guidance of students are fundamental requirements for a high-quality education system. He also commended the Minhaj Education Society for organizing professional training programmes aimed at enhancing teachers' knowledge, skills, and instructional effectiveness.
The ceremony was also attended by Wing Commander (Retd.) Abdul Ghaffar, Dr. Tanveer Azam Sandhu, Professor Dr. Tariq Mahmood Chaudhry, and other distinguished participants. The speakers unanimously stressed that continuous teacher training is an essential requirement of the present era, adding that the consistent enhancement of teaching competencies is indispensable for promoting modern, high-quality education.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were presented to the teachers who successfully completed the training workshop. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to applying the knowledge and teaching skills acquired during the programme in their classrooms and to playing an active role in the academic, moral, and intellectual development of the younger generation.
