Leaders of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Qazi Shafiq, and Arif Chaudhry, expressed deep sorrow and regret over the tragic bus accident near Chakri Interchange on the Rawalpindi Motorway, which claimed 5 lives and injured 28 others, including women and children.

In their joint statement, the leaders said that the accident was a result of overspeeding and inadequate safety measures. The loss of innocent lives is extremely heartbreaking. They emphasized the need for a full investigation into the incident and for the identification and accountability of those responsible.
