Social Entrepreneurs Visit Aaghosh Orphan Care Home

A delegation of social entrepreneurs recently visited Aaghosh Orphan Care Home, a subsidiary of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal, Director of Aaghosh Complex, warmly welcomed the guests and gave a detailed briefing on the accommodation, education, and training facilities provided to the children at Aaghosh.

The delegation praised Aaghosh Complex, calling it a home that turns the dreams of orphaned children into reality. They remarked that the smiles of the children at Aaghosh are Minhaj-ul-Quran's greatest achievement, describing it as a beacon of love and service that illuminates hundreds of lives.

The delegation acknowledged Aaghosh's services as an exemplary model of social service, appreciating the significant role Minhaj-ul-Quran plays in the education, training, and welfare of orphaned and destitute children.

During the visit, the Founder and CEO of Daily Diet, Kanza Iman, conducted a nutrition awareness session for the children. She emphasized the importance of a balanced diet, saying that it is the foundation of good health. She explained that understanding the principles of nutrition and including healthy components in daily meals is essential for everyone. She said that a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, proteins, and vitamins not only boosts immunity but also provides energy and freshness. Avoiding an unbalanced diet can help prevent many diseases. Kanza Iman also emphasized the importance of drinking plenty of water, eating meals on time, and consuming food in moderation for long-term health, encouraging families to adopt these habits. She also gifted fruit boxes to the children at Aaghosh.

He urged everyone to take health seriously and adopt positive habits to improve their lifestyle. He emphasized that in today's fast-paced world, it is crucial to give equal importance to both physical and mental health.
