Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, in his message to the nation on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, said that Pakistan is an ideological and geographical state that is made to last forever. The guarantee of Pakistan’s bright and secure future lies in its talented, virtuous, and patriotic youth.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that the foundation of this beloved homeland was laid on sacrifice, selflessness, and faith—principles that no internal or external challenge can weaken. He emphasized that the youth are a valuable asset of this country. If this generation adopts education, ethics, and a positive character as their guiding principles, then Pakistan can become a model and developed nation in the world.
He urged the youth not to waste their time and to avoid negative activities, instead focusing on knowledge, skills, and public service—because that is the path to making the country strong and self-reliant. He said that freedom is a priceless blessing and must be cherished. The best way to show this appreciation is to sincerely act upon the objectives and ideals behind the creation of Pakistan.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri recalled the words of the Founder of Pakistan, who said: “Pakistan is a laboratory of Islam, where a way of life will be shaped according to the golden principles of the Qur’an and Sunnah.”
On this 79th Independence Day, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri called for a renewed pledge to educate and train the youth, thereby laying the foundation for a prosperous society.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri also congratulated the nation on the 79th Independence Day. They expressed hope that Pakistan will one day become a prosperous country of the Muslim Ummah and that its youth will prove to be its true asset.
