A special intellectual session on the topic of Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH) and Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) was organized by the Minhajians Forum. Scholars who graduated from the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences participated in the session and presented research papers on books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Mawlid.
Orya Maqbool Jan participated as the chief guest. Speakers also discussed the
scholarly contributions of Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Prof. Dr. Hussain
Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.
Speaking at the event, Orya Maqbool Jan said, “I discovered the secret of the love
for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) through the speeches of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Prof.
Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Both of these personalities have colored the hearts
of the youth with the love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).” He praised the educational
and training system of Minhaj-ul-Quran, stating, “Every time I come here, I leave
with pearls of knowledge.”
President of Minhajians Forum, Allama Shahid Latif, thanked the guests and said that the core vision of Minhaj-ul-Quran is to promote the love of the Prophet (PBUH). He introduced Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri’s books: Mohabbat-e-Rasool ke Taqazay (The Demands of Love for the Prophet), Nusrat-e-Deen, Falsafa-e-Qul, and Shaan-e-Mustafa (PBUH). Research papers were also presented on Minhaj-us-Salikeen, a book by Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
The speakers appreciated the scholarly and literary efforts of the leadership of Minhaj-ul-Quran, stating that their research has revived the intellectual heritage of the Islamic scholars of the past.
Notable attendees included: Dr. Muhammad Farooq Rana, Hafiz Muhammad Nasir, Waqas Ali Khalid, Dr. Syed Hassan Shakeel Shah, Prof. Syed Mubashir Kazmi, Dr. Asghar Javed Qadri Al-Azhari, Allama Ahsan Owais Mustafavi, Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Sardar Muhammad Aftab Khan, Hafiz Sajid Mehmood Al-Azhari, Noorullah Siddiqi, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, Raja Zahid Mehmood, Nasrullah Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Javed Hazarvi, Maqsood Goraya, Rana Muhammad Shakeel, Babar Chaudhry, Naeem Ghumman, and Muhammad Umar Daraz Qadri.
The event was organized in collaboration with Resources & Development and Gilani Industries. The ceremony concluded with a prayer for the elevation of the ranks of the late Saleem Kataria.
