In connection with the 1500th Anniversary celebration of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birth, a prestigious "Mawlid Dinner" was organized by the Aaghosh Complex and Minhaj Institute for Quranic Studies and Hifz-ul-Quran.
The event was attended by teachers, students, parents, and prominent personalities from various walks of life. The event was chaired by Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Aaghosh Complex and President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat (praise) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Students and students gave speeches on various aspects of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life and presented flowers of devotion in His blessed presence.
Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal, Director of Aaghosh Complex, welcomed the guests in his opening remarks. Senior lawyer Azhar Siddique Advocate, renowned business figures Asif Chaudhry, Dr. Muhammad Saleh, Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Mian Zahid Islam, Noorullah Siddiqui, senior journalist Imran Randhawa, Dr. Ali Waqar, Principal of Tahfeez-ul-Quran Allama Muhammad Abbas Naqshbandi, Qari Syed Khalid Hamid Kazmi, Altaf Hussain Randhawa, and other leaders attended the event.
In his speech, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that the Seerah (life) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a beacon of light for all humanity. Through His noble character, forgiveness, and service to humanity, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) presented an example of leadership and guidance that remains perfect until the Day of Judgment. He emphasized that a true leader is one who prioritizes the welfare of the people over his personal interests, and this quality is derived from the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a shining beacon of light for all times. If the youth take guidance from it, they can refine their personalities and become a source of goodness and peace for others. He urged students, teachers, and parents to shape their lives according to the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and make humility and service to others their guiding principles. He added that Aaghosh Complex is not just an educational institution, but a center for character building and personality development, which is equipping the new generation with qualities like morality, service, and guidance.
While addressing the gathering, Azhar Siddique Advocate paid tribute to the scholarly, intellectual, and research contributions of Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He stated that the educational system of Aaghosh Complex and Minhaj Institute is playing a significant role in guiding and shaping the character of future generations.
Other notable attendees included Shahzad Rasul, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Abid Bashir, Sufi Maqsood Ahmed, Dr. Ali Waqar, Ali Mohi-ud-Din, Tayyab Zia, and other leaders. At the conclusion of the event, Professor Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barwi led a special prayer for national security, flood victims, and all participants of the gathering.
Chairman of Aaghosh Complex, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, congratulated the organizers for hosting the splendid event and awarded shields to the students of Aaghosh Grammar School who achieved exceptional positions in their exams.
