Pakistan’s First Ever UNESCO Chair on Peace Education & Intercultural Dialogue Awarded to Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri

Lahore: In a historic milestone for Pakistan’s higher education and peace initiatives, Prof. Dr Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman BOG, Minhaj University Lahore, has been awarded the prestigious UNESCO Chair on Peace Education and Intercultural Dialogue.

The UNESCO Chair has been established at Minhaj University Lahore. This global recognition places the University among an elite network of institutions worldwide working under UNESCO’s academic framework to promote peace, dialogue, research collaboration, and intercultural understanding.

The conferment of this Chair is being widely regarded as a recognition of the longstanding efforts of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj University Lahore in advancing peacebuilding, countering extremism, promoting moderation, and fostering dialogue among civilisations.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, founding leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and Chairman, BOG, Minhaj University Lahore, congratulated Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri on this landmark achievement.
