Promoting goodness, love, and cooperation in society is the true message of Eid, says founder of MQI

The founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslims of Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah. He prayed that Allah Almighty accepts the fasts observed and the acts of worship performed during the blessed month of Ramadan.
He said that Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of reward, joy, and gratitude granted by Allah Almighty to the believers. He further prayed that Allah accepts the fasting, prayers, recitation of the Holy Qur’an, charity, and all other good deeds carried out during Ramadan.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that Ramadan is a complete training system that teaches patience, piety, sincerity, and selflessness. The real success, he emphasized, lies in maintaining the spiritual state achieved during Ramadan even after the month has ended. He added that following the path shown by the Qur’an and Sunnah is the guarantee of success in this world and the hereafter.
He also urged people to include the poor and deserving in the celebrations of Eid, stating that promoting goodness, love, and cooperation in society is the true message of Eid. He encouraged those who are well-off to help the needy quietly and sincerely. Islam, he said, teaches the establishment of a welfare society where every individual cares for the rights of others and contributes to collective well-being.
