On the occasion of “Minhajians Day,” organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, a glowing tribute was paid to the graduates of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences at Minhaj University Lahore. During an intellectual sitting held at the Central Secretariat Model Town, speakers stated that Minhajians are the true custodians and practical representatives of the thought of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. They are actively engaged in promoting peace, love, and tolerance not only in Pakistan but across the globe.

Addressing the gathering, President of the Minhajians Forum, Shahid Latif, said that the graduates of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences are serving the nation and the international community in key positions across all walks of life as patriotic professionals. He noted that the College of Shariah holds a unique distinction: its graduates are not only religious scholars but are also experts in modern disciplines such as commerce, industry, and information technology.

He further stated that the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences is a distinctive educational institution where religious and contemporary knowledge are integrated, producing scholars who are well aligned with the demands of the modern age. These graduates are not only providing religious guidance but are also playing a leading role in bringing about positive change in society.

Shahid Latif added that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri established this institution with the vision that those who acquire religious knowledge should also possess modern education, so that they do not rely on religion merely as a means of livelihood.

He also highlighted that many of their scholars have successfully passed competitive examinations and secured important positions in the judiciary and civil institutions. He said that Minhajians are playing a prominent role worldwide in promoting unity of the Muslim Ummah, inter-sect harmony, tolerance, and a culture of brotherhood.

He concluded by stating that in an era marked by growing hatred, division, and extremism, Minhajians have emerged as a shining symbol of moderation, tolerance, and intellectual balance. Minhaj University Lahore, he added, is an important center of knowledge and research, contributing significantly to the development of a balanced and moderate society by integrating Islamic values with modern education.
