MWF to Distribute Qurbani Meat to Thousands of Needy

Minhaj Welfare Follows a Strategy Based on the Qur’anic Principles of “Halal and Tayyib”

Minhaj Welfare Foundation Lahore organized a training workshop for volunteers participating in the Qurbani Campaign 2026. The workshop featured addresses by Vice Nazim-e-Aala Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Vice President of Awami Tehreek Raja Zahid Mahmood, Central Secretary of Information Noor Ullah Siddiqui, President Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Nazim Lahore Nazim Ali Rehmat, Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, and Qasim Awan.

President Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, stated that the foundation aims to distribute Qurbani meat to thousands of needy individuals this year, highlighting that the philosophy of Qurbani and divine instructions emphasize sharing one’s blessings with the less fortunate.

Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees remarked that helping the creation of Allah for His pleasure is the greatest act of worship and a highly rewarded form of righteousness.

Vice Nazim-e-Aala Media Noor Ullah Siddiqui explained that the Qur’an promotes the concept of “Halal and Tayyib,” emphasizing hygiene and purity. He highlighted the importance of adhering to proper health and safety measures during the slaughter, cutting, packaging, transportation, and distribution of meat. Minhaj Welfare Foundation volunteers ensure the safe and timely delivery of meat, which distinguishes the foundation from other charitable organizations.

Vice President Raja Zahid Mahmood congratulated Minhaj Welfare Foundation for its timely preparations and effective organizational measures.

At the conclusion of the workshop, volunteers who demonstrated exemplary services in community welfare were recognized. Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees presented shields of appreciation to Allama Rana Nafees Hussain, Amjad Hussain Chaudhry, Haji Muhammad Hanif, Asghar Sajid, Hafiz Abdur Rehman, Dr. Muhammad Qasim, Mian Mumtaz Hussain, Mumtaz Khichi, Sheikh Wakeel Ahmed Minhaj Lab, and Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed for their outstanding contributions.
