President MWL Pakistan Ms. Farah Naz addressed the webinar on the topic of "The night of repentance", organized by Minhaj Sisters and MWL Europe in connection with Shab e Barat. She said that the 'Shab e Barat' is the night of forgiveness and salvation. She also added that Allah’s Mercy especially awaits the prayers and supplications of His servants, adding that the moment they pray, His Mercy showers on them. She said that prayer is an important form of worship to seek Allah Almighty's help and nothing else except prayer can change the destiny of a person.
An MOU was signed between Minhaj Youth League and Jumpstart Pakistan. Both sides have vowed to collectively work for the promotion of the youths' talent, creation of awareness about climate change issues, fostering of creativity, and human resource development. MYL President Mazhar Mahmood Alvi welcomed Jumpstart Pakistan Director Kamran Muzaffar Hayat and appreciated his passion for youth empowerment.
In his special message on Pakistan Day, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has that Pakistan is a great blessing of Allah Almighty. He said that our motherland was achieved after exemplary sacrifices. He said that the purpose of rendering these sacrifices was the establishment of a great and secure state built on the universal teachings of Islam. He said that the aims and objectives for which this country was attained are clearly listed in the preamble to the Constitution.
In a message to the MQI and PAT workers and the people of Pakistan, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that that the third wave of coronavirus has become very severe and deeply concerning. He said that it is more intense than the first and the second wave. He asked the people to strictly act upon the advice and guidelines prescribed by the national and international organizations to protect themselves from the infection.
PAT arranged a seminar under the "change the system" slogan to celebrate Pakistan Day that was celebrated across the country on March 23. The speakers emphasized the need for change in the system to make Pakistan prosperous. Mian Rehan Maqbool, while speaking on the occasion, said that PAT under its inspirational leadership has waged a relentless struggle to highlight the objectives for which the country came into being.
Team Eagers concluded the first online Eagers Sunday School. Secretary-General MWL Pakistan, Miss Sidra Karamat was the chief guest and keynote speaker of the ceremony. In her speech, she gave parenting advice on how to bring up children in a responsible manner. Team Eagers received immense and most encouraging responses from the parents at the closing ceremony of Eagers Sunday School online (Session 1) this past Sunday.
Outlining the objectives, Sardar Shakir Mazari said that completion of record and the establishment of district and provincial offices will also be ensured besides linking 1000 religious seminaries with Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. He said that district contact councils will also be brought into being for the purpose of coordination. He asked every Rafique of MQI to make sure that they hold Halaq-e-Durood at their home on weekly basis. He directed the office-holders to always organize the oath-taking ceremonies wherever they set up a new chapter.
MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his profound sorrow and grief on the passing away of Shaykh Muhammad Ali as-Sabuni, renowned religious scholar, academic, and researcher from Syria. Shaykh Sabuni breathed his last in the suburbs of Istanbul in Turkey.
MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has presented a new curriculum for Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan in a national conference held on the subject of a syllabus for the religious seminaries. He invited the religious scholars, teachers, academics, and researchers to give their suggestions with an open mind, assuring them that their input will be accommodated. He said we are not in any kind of competition with any board, or school of thought, stating that he considers such thinking as a sin.
MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address a national conference of religious scholars and Mashaykh on March 17. The event to be held online will take up the subject of redesigning the curriculum of the religious seminaries. The senior professors and religious scholars of Madaris from Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Azad Kashmir, Quetta, Okara, Sahiwal, Mandi Bahauddin, and Hyderabad will attend the online conference.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the Minhaj Welfare Clinic in the PP 153 area of Lahore under the banner of the Minhaj Welfare Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, he said that extending help and assistance to the poor and needy in this day and age is the best form of worship. He said that medical treatment has become very expensive in Pakistan, stating that the poor do not have the capacity to afford medicines and fees of the doctors.
A ceremony was held in the honor of the graduate Huffaz students under the banner of Minhaj Institute of Qira’at & Tehfeez-ul-Quran and Aghosh Complex. Addressing the ceremony, president MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the teachers who torture students are causing estrangement of the new generation from both knowledge and religion. He stated categorically that the use of torture in religious seminaries is unacceptable, stating that the manner in which the students pursuing medical and engineering professions are imparted education, the students of religious seminaries should also be treated in the same manner and given education as per the same standard.
Addressing a combined ceremony of Miraj-un-Nabi (pbuh) and the monthly spiritual gathering through a video link on the night of March 12, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Holy Quran is the biggest and eternal miracle conferred upon the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said that after the Holy Quran, Miraj (ascension) is the second biggest miracle. He said that the epoch of Miraj is called "al-Isra’ wal Miraj", the word 'al-Isra’' has been derived from the Holy Quran, while the word 'Miraj' has been taken from the Hadith.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman, BoG of Minhaj University Lahore, attended an inaugural ceremony of "Maktaba al-Kitab al-Mubeen" on the special invitation of Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, the head of Jamia Urwa-tul-Wusqa.
On the occasion of the 70th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Ittihad-e-Ummat and Shaykh-ul-Islam Conference was held under the banner of MQI (Mandi Bahauddin chapter). Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri attended the conference on special invitation. They also spoke on the occasion.
