Minhaj-ul-Quran appoints “Ambassadors of Knowledge” at district level across Punjab
He Holds Meeting and interaction with Ambassadors of Knowledge from across Punjab
To promote higher education and raise educational awareness, the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of Minhaj University Lahore, Professor Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has appointed Ambassadors of Knowledge across Punjab at the district level.
These Ambassadors of Knowledge will highlight the need for and importance of education in their respective districts and will provide every possible support to talented and deserving male and female students from underprivileged backgrounds to help them continue their educational journey.
Recently, the Ambassadors of Knowledge appointed across Punjab visited Minhaj University Lahore, where they held a special meeting with the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran is a movement dedicated to the promotion of knowledge, peace, and humanity, and that education is the only path that leads nations to progress and self-reliance. He added that Minhaj University Lahore spends millions of rupees every year on educational assistance for talented yet financially disadvantaged students, so that no capable student is deprived of education due to lack of resources.
Professor Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that the doors of Minhaj University Lahore are always open for knowledge-seeking and talented students, and that the university provides quality education, modern research facilities, and an excellent academic environment.
Following the meeting, the Ambassadors of Knowledge were given a comprehensive tour of various departments of Minhaj University Lahore, where they were briefed on the university’s degree programs, scholarships, research projects, and state-of-the-art facilities. On the occasion, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore Professor Dr Sajid Mahmood Shehzad, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Khurram Khurshid, Muhammad Tayyab Zia, and other university officials were also present.
