The founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Brigadier (Retd.) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

In his condolence message, he said that the demise of Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmad Khan is a great loss for the MQI. He described the late Brigadier as a great leader and a valuable asset to the organization, whose services were historic and unforgettable. He added that Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmad Khan was a sincere, honest, dutiful, sociable, and morally upright individual. His contributions to Minhaj-ul-Quran are commendable and worthy of emulation. He remained committed to the mission of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) until his last breath.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed that Allah Almighty elevates the ranks of the deceased, grants him forgiveness and mercy, and gives patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, also expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmad Khan. They stated that he was a respected leader and a valuable asset to the organization, who devoted a significant part of his life to serving and promoting the mission of Islam. They prayed that Allah grants him a place in His mercy and bestows patience upon his family.

Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, along with other senior leaders including G.M. Malik, Deputy Secretaries General Dr. Rafiq Najm, Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawad Hamid, Colonel (R) Khalid Javed, Rana Fayyaz Ahmad Khan, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Irfan Yousaf, Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri, Haji Manzoor Hussain, Shahid Latif, Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Ayub Ansari, Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, Imtiaz Awan, and others also expressed their grief and prayed for the forgiveness and mercy of the deceased.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janazah) of Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmad Khan will be offered on April 2 (Thursday) after Zuhr prayer at Jamia Masjid DD, Phase 4, DHA Lahore. Central, provincial, and district leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran, along with people from various walks of life, are expected to attend.
