Lahore: Dr. Leif Hetland, Founder of Global Awareness Mission (USA), accompanied by his delegation, visited the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). The delegation was warmly received by Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of Interfaith Relations, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, along with members of the central leadership of MQI.
During the visit, the delegation held a special meeting with Khuram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, who provided a comprehensive briefing on MQI's national and international initiatives. He highlighted the global contributions of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in promoting peacebuilding, interfaith harmony, education, humanitarian services, youth development, and community welfare across the world. Secretary General also presented commemorative souvenirs to Dr. Leif Hetland and the members of his delegation.
Sohail Ahmad Raza also accompanied the delegation on a comprehensive tour of various departments at the MQI Central Secretariat. During the visit, the guests were introduced to the organization's administrative structure, the Pictorial Gallery showcasing the peacebuilding work of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Gosha-e-Durood, and MQI's research initiatives.
The delegation appreciated the extensive national and international services of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and expressed admiration for its significant contributions to promoting peace, tolerance, interfaith dialogue, education, and humanitarian values. They also highly commended the visionary leadership and lifelong efforts of His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in fostering global peace, religious harmony, human dignity, and the welfare of humanity.
