Governor invited to attend the 43rd International Mawlid Conference; delegation led by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur
The joy of the birth of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) surpasses every other joy in the world: Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan

A senior delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, met with the Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, at the Governor's House in Lahore and formally presented him with an invitation to attend the 43rd International Mawlid Conference. The Governor graciously accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the event.
During the meeting, Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the joy of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is greater than every other joy in the world. He described the Prophet's blessed life and character as the perfect model for all humanity, noting that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) taught mankind the values of peace, love, moderation, tolerance, justice, and respect for human dignity.
He further stated that it is the conviction of every believer that if individuals and societies shape their lives in accordance with the Sunnah and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), many of the challenges facing humanity can be overcome. He added that, as the Head of the State of Madinah, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) presented the world with a comprehensive model of a welfare state founded on the enduring principles of justice, peace, and peaceful coexistence.
The Governor also paid tribute to the scholarly, intellectual, and religious contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, saying that he is spreading the fragrance of the Prophet's Seerah to every corner of the world. He described Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri's lifelong efforts to promote the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and serve Islam as a source of pride and an example worthy of emulation.
Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur briefed the Governor on the objectives, significance, and arrangements of the 43rd International Mawlid Conference and thanked him for accepting the invitation.
