MQI Canada arranged a ceremony in remembrance of Farid-e-Millat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri (ra), the beloved father of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The program started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Shafiq Ahmad Naeemi Al-Azhari in his beautiful and melodious voice followed by the translation and the narration of three Hadith by Hafiz Umair Waqas.
Addressing the Farid-e-Millat Scholarship Award ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Minhaj Education Society and President MQI, has said that education offers the only way forward for progress of the country. He said that the educational institutions working under the banner of MQI are imparting both quality but affordable education as well as moral training to the students. He said that the award of merit scholarships to the deserving but talented students is helping the poor parents realize the dream of giving higher education to their children.
All the four regions, Scotland, North, Midlands and South, joined an exclusive session with Dr Ghalza Hassan Qadri alongside their teams. The purpose of the session was to provide updates on what they’ve been doing during lockdown. The sisters, who are new members of Minhaj Sisters UK, were also given the chance to talk about their experiences and be introduced to Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri urges MQI activists to use social media for positive purposes
In an online address to thousands of social media activists, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the youth should make sure to learn the use of the modern means of communication in line with the social and moral values and the religious teachings. He said that in addition to being the most powerful tool of the present century, social media is also a very sensitive matter that calls for responsibility on part of the users.
Team Alhidayah Jhelum and MWL Jhelum concluded the online "Art and calligraphy competition", held in relevance of Quran Day among the students and household females of Jhelum. Secretary General MWL Pakistan, Ms. Sidra Karamat attended the conclusive session as the chief guest. Ms. Sidra Karamat congratulated to all the participants of the competition and specially to the position holders. She also appreciated Team MWL Jhelum for always engaging the public with their innovative ideas and setting new trends.

The booklet starts with the heading ‘Traits of Islam’ that encompasses ‘Love, mercy, compassion, kindness, liberalness, tolerance, benevolence, forgiveness, forbearance, altruism, charity, peace, moderation. These aforementioned traits have been spotlighted throughout the book in light of the traditions of the beloved Prophet (pbuh). The booklet is comprised of two parts. Part one, having around 100 articles – gives information about the birth of the Prophet (pbuh), and importantly a general description of his personality.

This weekend we reached the fifth and sixth station of our Online Quranic Journey arranged under the banner of Minhaj Women League and Minhaj Sisters Europe on the official YouTube channel of Minhaj Sisters Europe. Many sisters from Europe, Pakistan, India and UAE joined the class where we covered last 9 Paras of the Quran. Ustazah Masarrat Bashir took covered para 20 to 25 and Ustazah Farah Naz took class on Sunday by covering next four paras.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to deliver online lectures during last ten days of Ramadan
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his online lectures during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. He said that the heart-warming and soul-stirring speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam are the source of spiritual development, particularly for the youth. He said that the decision has been taken not to hold Itikaf this year in view of the ongoing Corona pandemic in the country.
MQI Supreme Council Chairman Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that extending a helping hand to the needy and destitute is obligatory on those who have resources. He said that the provision of financial support to the people with respect who have been left behind in the race of life is Sunna of the Holy Prophet (pbuh).
Addressing Sayyida Ayesha Siddiqa (ra) Conference held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League through audio link, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the chamber of the mother of the believers, Sayyida Ayesha Siddiqa (ra), was the first school of Hadith and Sunnah dedicated to the spread of religious sciences. She (ra) was excellent example in herself in piety, Godwariness, and the service of Islam.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Karachi, held a closing ceremony of "عرفان الفقہ و آدابِ زندگی", an online training course for students, teachers and women. Nazima MWL Pakistan, Ms Sidra Karamat exclusively talked to the participants of the closing ceremony. She appreciated the efforts of Mrs Fouzia Junaid, Mrs Nusrat Rana, Mrs Sana Naveed and Ms Tooba Suleiman for organizing such a beautiful course and training more than 200 females on fiqh (jurisprudence) of life.
